Michelle Kennedy began her career in New York City where she taught chemistry and computer science for three years at a high-needs public school. She then began working with the NYC Department of Education as a Director of Computer Science Academics. In this role Michelle trained new computer science teachers across the district and worked to develop the city's computer science teacher leadership program to support existing computer science teachers. Recently she relocated to Colorado where she is currently teaching computer science at Fredrick High School and biotechnology at the Innovation Center.
