Fly High! Aerospace Engineering Design Challenge

Fly High! Aerospace Engineering Design Challenge
Did you know scientists use kites to conduct research?! The Integrated Teaching and Learning Program (ITLP) team of the CU Boulder College of Engineering & Applied Science is partnering with SVVSD staff on an interactive aerospace engineering design camp. During this 5-day camp, student teams will integrate engineering and environmental science content via a design challenge to deploy remote sensing and atmospheric data collection sensors using NASA Aerokats & Rover Education Network (AREN) AeroPod kite technology. The ITLP aims to broaden participation in engineering, and we encourage students from underrepresented groups to participate in this unique aviation experience!
