Beep Beep, R2 - How Socially Assistive Robotics Improve our World (In-Person)
Robots are magic. The opportunity for them to do useful things is large but has been limited to the world of roboticists. Now, with Misty II, students can learn how to unleash their potential by bringing the magic of social robots to life.

Misty II provides a new world of opportunities with robots for business, personal, research and educational use. She has a lot of capabilities for students to explore: movement, speech, and even vision recognition. This camp will teach students the tools to start developing their own skills on the Misty II while learning about all the different ways social robots are being used in our society.

Students will be able to code Misty either through Blockly, a block-based program, or text-based languages Python and Javascript.
