The Innovation Center is proud to offer a VEX IQ Online Robotics Academy, a virtual after-school STEM learning club that meets once a week for 7 weeks. Third – Fifth grade St. Vrain students will learn how to program a virtual robot using the VEXcodeVR program, a block based coding environment powered by Scratch Blocks. 

Students will have weekly team meetings with their coach and a high school student. During these meetings students will collaborate with other students.  Outside of the meetings, students will work independently on their programs for the robot.  If students have questions before their next team meeting, they will have the opportunity to contact their coach through their schoology course. 

We are offering VEX Online Academy 1.0 and VEX Online Academy 2.0.  Students that have already taken the VEX Online Academy can sign up for the 2.0 class. VEX Online academy is open to all 3rd – 5th graders in SVVSD. There is no cost for students to enroll.
