The Innovation Center is excited to offer summer opportunities to students just completing kindergarten all the way through high school. Below are descriptions of each of those opportunities as well as which grade level they apply to. All summer programs will take place at the Innovation Center.
2024 Innovation Academy
Grades: Students who will be entering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the 2024-25 school year.
Welcome to Innovation Academy. For 14 years, we’ve been empowering, innovating, and learning alongside St Vrain students and can’t wait to kick-off year 15 with you. This exciting summer program is taught by St. Vrain Valley School District educators with the support of Innovation Center high school students. Innovation Academy fosters a foundation of critical thinking through inquiry-based learning and will create a community of learners who will think globally and collaboratively to develop innovative approaches to problem-solving
2024 Summer Camps
Grades: Students who will be in 1st-12th grade next school year (24/25)
Innovation Center Summer Camps offer innovative, hands-on learning experiences that engage and challenge students and incorporate human-centered design thinking. Camps are taught primarily by student designers and teachers from the Innovation Center, and offer a wide-range of fun STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) activities.
2024 Summer High School Classes
Grades: Students who will be in 9th-12th grade next school year (24/25); SVVSD High School Students
St. Vrain students have the opportunity to enroll in summer courses that are typically offered during the school year. This summer, we’re offering CTE81110 The Arts in VR and CTE80120 Introduction to Cybersecurity. Session times vary by course, but all will take place Monday-Thursday from June 3-27, 2024.
