Course Request Information

If you’re a SVVSD high school student and interested in requesting a course for the upcoming semester, please reach out to your high school counselor for more information, or email our registrar, Socorro Marquez, at marquez_socorro@svvsd.org for available classes and questions.

During the normal request window of December 3, 2025 – February 2, 2026 you can follow the steps below to request courses. Once you have completed your requests, your counselor will work with one of the members of our team to help you secure your place in our classes. If you have any questions, please reach out to Socorro Marquez at marquez_socorro@svvsd.org. We look forward to seeing you this upcoming year!

  1. Log into Infinite Campus Portal under the student account at: ic.svvsd.org/campus/portal/students/stvrain.jsp
  2. Select the Academic Planning dropdown at the left; click ‘Next’.
  3. Scroll down to ‘Practical Arts’ heading towards the bottom of the page. Some Bioscience course will be under ‘Science’ rather than Practical Arts.
  4. Select the text box for the upcoming school year.
  5. Find the IC Course that you want and enter the IC course name or number you are requesting.
  6. Select the course you wish to request by clicking on it.
  7. Save.
  8. *****For alternate choices, enter more classes in the bottom row labeled ‘alternates’.
