The NeverEnding Story
Create Graphic Novels for Publishing!
This course explores the art of visual storytelling through the lens of sequential art, combining elements of comics, animation, and cinematic storyboarding. Students will learn how to construct compelling narratives that unfold frame by frame—developing the skills to choreograph action, express emotion, and convey pacing through images alone. Emphasis will be placed on visual direction, composition, and storytelling structure, allowing students to bring their original stories to life across multiple formats. Whether crafting an epic battle, a subtle character moment, or a transformative journey, students will explore the unique power of sequential imagery to engage audiences and communicate meaning. Through hands-on projects and iterative development, this course builds both technical art skills and a strong foundation in story design—empowering students to become the directors of their own visual adventures.
