- Jayme Sneider has been working as a science and STEM teacher at the middle school level with SVVSD since 2008. During this time, she summited Mount Kilimanjaro and through Discovery Education and the GLOBE program, she was able to collect data and involve SVVSD students virtually. She also represented the state of Colorado in 2018 as a National Geographic Geoinquiry ambassador. Jayme also coached soccer and women’s basketball. Prior to classroom teaching, Jayme worked at Mount Rainier National Park as a Geological Education Specialist and then at UNAVCO with the Plate Boundary Observatory education and outreach team. At that time, she was also a volunteer with Boulder Emergency Squad. Jayme enjoys hiking, biking, triathlons, time with her family and traveling. Jayme has traveled to all seven continents collecting data!
