Anatomical Case Studies VR
As part of the Innovation Center Bioscience pathway, students use the CSU Virtual Reality (VR) program in the classroom environment. Students explore clinical studies and case trials in which they try to solve using the VR program. Students will work with CSU mentors in virtual reality to navigate through the human body. Final case study presentations will be given to current health care professionals. By the end of this class, students will have applied medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology to real world applications, as well as worked on professional collaboration with medical industry professionals.
Credits: 0.5 Science Credits (Students will earn 0.5 Science credits starting the 23/24 school year if they still need science credit. If the district’s science credit requirement has been met, then this class will count as 0.5 Practical Arts credit.)
This class is not NCAA accredited.

SVVSD Innovation Center students present VR project at NASA conference
Erie High senior Kayla Evans and Niwot High junior Katelin VonFeldt are looking to help NASA address isolation challenges for astronauts by combining virtual reality and sensory-based memory triggers with exercise. They’re creating the project for NASA HUNCH, a program that engages high school and college students in real-world research and development for space missions.
