Bioscience Explorers (Bioastronautics)
Learn about life in space!
This is an introductory course to the bioscience pathway. Students will be introduced to current research in the fields of AgInnovation and human and animal biometrics all through the concepts and challenges of Bioastronautics. Students will work with NASA to complete a NASA Hunch biomedical engineering challenge of their choice. In addition to the scientific learnings, students will learn communication and collaboration skills through numerous engineering design challenges. This course provides for experiential learning beyond the classroom through field trips, experiencing current research lab tools and methodology, and building relationships that support growing careers in the bioscience pathway.
