Introduction to Quantum
What if the smallest things in the universe could change the biggest parts of our future?
Intro to Quantum is designed to give students a broad, accessible entry point into the world of quantum science and technology. Rather than focusing narrowly on computing, mechanics, or materials, this course explores the full landscape of the quantum field through hands-on activities, classroom discussions, and real-world worksite visits.
The goal is to help students understand what quantum is, where it’s headed, and who’s involved—from universities and industry to leading researchers and innovators. By examining current applications, future possibilities, and the wide range of careers connected to the field, students will see how quantum touches science, trades, policy, and design—and discover the opportunities emerging as the industry continues to grow.
