Accessibility Team

Mission Statement: The Innovation Center Accessibility Team is passionate about creating an environment where everyone can do the things they want to do in the way they want to do them.

Achievements: Our team has succeeded in hosting an Inclusion Night bringing awareness to accessibility and facilitating connections within the community. Additionally, we had the opportunity to present at a state-wide science teacher conference to encourage empathy and awareness surrounding disabilities in the science classroom.

Goals: The Accessibility Team is committed to spreading awareness about the importance of inclusion and adaptability. To do so, we plan on creating a Professional Development Course to educate, inspire, and encourage teachers to learn how to implement accessibility within the classroom. This will ultimately create an inclusive environment for all students and staff within our district.
