Welcome!

Welcome to the Innovation Center of St. Vrain Valley Schools! We are a dynamic hub of creativity where students, businesses, community, and educators collaborate to not only shape the present – together we are shaping the future!

Who You Might Be

You may be a Community Member, a Parent/Guardian, a Business or Industry Member, a Non-Profit Organization, or a Higher Education Partner.  You may be interested in being involved with public education and partnering with an organization like the Innovation Center. Consider how we can be a part of your goals!

How is the Innovation Center Unique?

The IC is the next step in public education, providing opportunities to experiment with extraordinary ideas and technologies to solve real-world problems. We are a catalyst, incubator, and bridge between education, industry, and our community.

We are redefining the narrative of how public education interacts with all community stakeholders by adding value through customized, student-developed solutions. We create opportunities for hands-on learning and authentic real-world problem-solving and, through this, empower students to tackle challenges, develop innovative solutions, and build skills to lead.

By positioning our students at the center of our work, we’re cultivating the future workforce and leaders.  Let’s create meaningful impact, together!

Get Involved

Our community partners have always played a critical role in supporting our students. Since we opened doors in 2014, we’ve engaged with multiple community members, ranging from parents and family members to people from industry, business and higher education. Each collaboration is very unique and we strive to customize each to best meet your needs and interests. Learn more here by exploring our Case Studies.

Together, we can shape tomorrow’s leaders, innovators, and changemakers!

Many WAYS to COLLABORATE:

Work-Based Learning Opportunities

Engage with students and build your future workforce by offering a work site tour, being a guest speaker, host a job shadow, or provide internships, while gaining fresh perspectives and ideas. For more details on these opportunities, visit our WBL page.

Innovation Center Products and Services

Products and services are provided by project teams comprised of student designers who are Innovation Center employees. These teams are supported by Innovation Center program managers and guided by industry mentors. We have over 25 teams (click here for more information) that are completing authentic work for real clients by applying the skills and knowledge they are developing in their classes.

Hiring a project team not only empowers an up and coming generation of leaders and innovators, you also will benefit from receiving high-quality solutions.

Mentor: Share your expertise and passion with students in the following ways:
