The Entrepreneurship team promotes innovation and ignites the entrepreneurial spirit by working on a variety of real-world projects that drive meaningful impact and foster growth. The Student Designers on this team have the opportunity to take initiative and collaborate with other students and industry professionals, developing their own skills while providing opportunities for others. Projects may include working with external clients on projects for their businesses or organizations; managing the Innovation Center Store and Career Closet; and designing and teaching Entrepreneurship summer camps.

Innovate by Design
3rd-5th Grade
Are you ready to become an innovator, creator, and problem-solver? Join us in using your creativity and skills to make the world a better place! Step into the shoes of people around the world to explore global issues like access to clean water, renewable energy, and education. Dive into fun, hands-on activities like building windmills, creating plastic bottle schools, and designing water filters. Think of creative solutions for these global problems, then get your hands dirty and build your own inventions. Test them out, and at the end of camp, share your best invention with everyone, showing how it can change the world. Don’t miss this adventure where you’ll become an innovator and problem-solver. Let’s start innovating by design!
Maker’s Market
6th-8th Grade
Do you have a great idea you want to turn into a reality? Join us and explore the world of entrepreneurship! Design a real product, purchase materials, manage a budget, produce inventory, create marketing materials, and set up your own storefront. At the end of camp, sell your product to fellow campers and have the chance to purchase others’ creations in our Maker’s Market event! Campers will receive a budget of pretend money to purchase raw materials for their own products and to shop for others’ creations in the market event.
