Yes, the district provides free lunch to all students. Students coming and going during lunch hours at the Innovation Center can grab lunch at either the student cafe or the front entrance. Additionally, we have a small cafe where students can purchase snacks and beverages from a vending machine.

Yes, students will need to display their high school parking permit they received from their home high school.

On late start days (late start Wednesdays and late starts due to inclement weather), class is not held in-person at the Innovation Center. Courses & Enrollment

Many factors determine how many classes you can take at the Innovation Center and are largely based on your schedule’s availability. Please talk with your home high school counselor to see how to fit Innovation Center classes into your schedule.

Unless otherwise noted, each of our classes are one block and one semester long.

Unless otherwise noted, our classes count as 0.5 practical arts credits that count towards high school graduation requirements.

No, none of our classes at the Innovation Center are NCAA approved.

You can request classes for the 25-26 school year during our open request window (December 4, 2024 – February 3, 2025) through MYAP (Multi Year Academic Planning) in Infinite Campus. Instructions on how to request courses through MYAP can be found here.

If you missed the request window, please talk to your high school counselor about enrolling in an Innovation Center class.

Please reach out to your home high school counselor to inquire about the reason you didn’t get into your chosen Innovation Center class.

Summer Programs

We offer summer high school classes (grades 9-12) and camps (grades 1-12).

You can register your student one of three ways:

  • Online during the registration window
  • In-person, at the Innovation Center (please email Socorro Marquez at [email protected] to set up an appointment)
  • Over the phone: (303) 702-8200

We typically update our website in mid-February to share what summer opportunities will be available. Registration opens on March 1st for the summer.

  • Summer high school classes are only open to SVVSD students.
  • Summer camps are open to both SVVSD students an non-SVVSD students.

Because summer programs take place after the end of the school year, the grades listed represent the grade your student will be in for the following school year (25/26 school year). Please register your student for the appropriate camps/classes based on the grade listed.

At this time, bus transportation is not provided to the Innovation Center for our summer programs.

If you signed your student up for a morning and afternoon summer session in the same week and they will be with us all day, they can stay here on site. We’ll provide lunch if they’ll be with us all day.

The Innovation Center provides snacks and a snack break for campers.

Please contact our registrar, Socorro Marquez, at [email protected] with your cancellation and refund request. Please make sure you include your student’s name and name of the camp in your email. Cancellation requests must be made by the deadline in order to receive a refund.

Summer High School Classes

Yes, students will receive 0.5 practical arts credit that will go on a student’s high school transcript and count towards high school graduation requirements upon successfully passing the summer high school class.

Summer high school classes meet 3 hours a day, 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) for 4 weeks (16 days total).

Due to the fast-paced nature of summer high school classes, please consider taking the class during the normal school year. Missing one day of class during the summer is equivalent to missing a week’s worth of content during the normal school year. Additionally, students may be dropped (without a refund) if they miss more than 3 days of summer class.
