Have you ever wondered how an airplane flies? You’re not alone! For ages, people have gazed to the sky and pondered flight. In the past century, aircraft have made tremendous advances through scientific discoveries. In this camp, you will learn about the scientific principles that make an airplane fly – whether it is a Boeing airliner or a paper airplane – by building and test flying your own Drone! We will explore different airplane designs by building them, and learn about the different ways they fly!
Have you ever wondered why a rainforest sounds the way it does, or how scientists use sound to learn about the environment? In Become a Soundscape Ecologist, students will explore how sound reveals the character, health, and story of environments around the world through hands-on listening, recording, and creating. Campers will record sounds from their local environment, practice active listening to identify and describe different ecosystems, and learn how sounds from nature and human activity shape the places we live. Using digital tools, students will transform their recordings into a creative composition project that blends science, music, and storytelling. Families are invited to join during the final hour of camp for a showcase where students will share their work and reflect on what they’ve learned about the sounds that surround us.
Jump into a week of coding adventures! Campers will explore the basics of coding through games, hands-on activities, and playful robots. Each day brings new challenges—design mazes, create stories, and solve problems using both tech tools and unplugged fun. Campers will share their creative projects and new skills with each other every day!
What if you could help build a game using the same engine behind many of today’s biggest titles? In Venture Into Unreal Game Design, campers will spend four days learning the fundamentals of game development inside Unreal Engine through a project designed by student developers. Campers will experiment with game mechanics, adjust environments, and add their own creative twists to the experience. This camp emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on exploration while introducing students to industry-level tools in an approachable, supportive way.
What could you do with a few days, scrap electronics equipment, and an ocean of creativity? Make a difference! This camp will explore engineering micro-experiences, sparking moments of happiness, and providing real people with real value. Sign up to explore how technology and creativity can affect real change even in the smallest of ways. Participants will design, construct, and program custom-tailored arduino projects.

Get ready to unleash your creativity in this hands-on camp! You’ll design your own unique character, bring it to life by sculpting it out of clay, and watch as your creation gets scanned into 3D modeling software. From there, your character will be 3D printed, so you can take home a real-life version of your imagination. This is your chance to become both an artist and a tech wizard, creating something amazing from start to finish! Don’t miss out on turning your ideas into cool, 3D masterpieces!
Are you ready to become an innovator, creator, and problem-solver? Join us in using your creativity and skills to make the world a better place! Step into the shoes of people around the world to explore global issues like access to clean water, renewable energy, and education. Dive into fun, hands-on activities like building windmills, creating plastic bottle schools, and designing water filters. Think of creative solutions for these global problems, then get your hands dirty and build your own inventions. Test them out, and at the end of camp, share your best invention with everyone, showing how it can change the world. Don’t miss this adventure where you’ll become an innovator and problem-solver. Let’s start innovating by design!
Join us to learn, discover, and identify problems in our world and brainstorm possible solutions. Explore challenges that people face in our communities and how these impact us and our world. How can YOU make the world a better place? Students will use the design thinking process to develop innovative approaches to problem-solving. How will YOU make the world a better place?
Get ready for an awesome adventure where you become a character creator! In this camp, you’ll design your very own character, shape it out of clay, and then see it come to life in 3D! Your sculpture will be scanned and transformed into a digital design using special software. And the best part? Your character will be 3D printed, so you can take home a real version of what you created! This camp is perfect for young artists who love to build, design, and explore cool new technology. Let’s make something amazing together!
Lights, Camera, Game On! Game Show Live Streaming is where creativity takes center stage! Students will team up to design, produce, and star in their very own game show. Campers will learn hands-on skills like camera operation, audio production, set design, and live video switching using professional-grade equipment. The grand finale? A live-streamed broadcast of their game show on YouTube for friends and family to enjoy! Whether you’re a future filmmaker, tech wizard, or an aspiring game show host or contestant, this camp is the perfect place for you to shine.
Do you have a great idea you want to turn into a reality? Join us and explore the world of entrepreneurship! Design a real product, purchase materials, manage a budget, produce inventory, create marketing materials, and set up your own storefront. At the end of camp, sell your product to fellow campers and have the chance to purchase others’ creations in our Maker’s Market event! Campers will receive a budget of pretend money to purchase raw materials for their own products and to shop for others’ creations in the market event.
Have you ever dreamed of sending a robot into outer space? Learn how we use robots to explore space and how humans plan to colonize Mars! You will use the Vex IQ robotic system to create your own Mars Lander to explore the Martian terrain. You will design, build, and program your own robot to complete a Mars themed mission.
This camp is for students 3-5th grade. Have you ever noticed how some robots in movies act just like real people with their own special personalities? That’s called anthropomorphism (an-thruh-poh-more-fiz-um), which is a fancy word for giving human qualities—like being funny, smart, or silly—to machines! Today, you get to use this superpower to build your very own chatbot, designing exactly how it looks on the outside and deciding how it ‘talks’ online. Will your new robot friend be a helpful hero or a goofy jokester? Let’s get building and bring your creations to life!
In this camp, students will learn how to create unique, dynamic experiences by manipulating sound, perception, and the environment. Through sessions focused on technology, science, and design, campers can explore their visionary and creative thinking and push the boundaries of traditional music. Campers will engage in design challenges and project-based learning throughout the week. Camp will conclude with an exhibition of student work (open to families) on the final day.
Movie Magic Camp is a one-of-a-kind summer experience for 3rd – 5th graders. At Movie Magic Camp, campers will explore the art and science of filmmaking to create their own short movies. Campers will learn the basics of cinematography, lighting, and storytelling, as well as how to use editing software to bring their visions to life. Movie Magic Camp provides an unforgettable adventure for any aspiring filmmaker, allowing them to unlock their imagination and create their own unique works of art.
